Open call for applications for EANO Research Grant 2025
EANO RESEARCH GRANT 2025
Introduction
EANO’s mission includes promoting collaboration, education, and research to deliver impactful advancements in neuro-oncology, a field of significant public interest due to its focus on cancer research. This EANO Research Grant is established to support this mission by contributing to the funding of high-quality collaborative research led by EANO members. We welcome applications from EANO members with high-quality projects that meet the criteria below.
Funding requests up to EUR 50,000 total (including overhead) will be considered.
There will be one (1) grant available in this initial call
Criteria:
- The project aligns with EANO’s mission in supporting impactful research in the field of neuro-oncology contributing an improvement/enrichment in cancer research.
- The project has well defined aims and objectives with value for cancer research as a field of significant public interest and a clear timeline.
- The project has been peer reviewed by an appropriately qualified national or international panel in the initial round of applications and is looking for additional funding to add value, permit new collaborations or for completion of the project.
- The project has received support from another appropriate Higher Education Institution (HEI) or research organisation. Matched funding from other organisations/partners is encouraged.
- Collaboration between more countries will be encouraged, as well as cross-country representation.
- Re-applications with the same project will not be accepted.
- The applicant has been a member of EANO for more than two consecutive years, i.e., 2023 and 2024, at the time the call was issued and has a good reputation.
- Each applicant may submit only one application per round per year
