EANO Travel Scholarships
EANO Nurse & Allied Health Professionals (NAC) Travel Scholarships
The NAC Travel Scholarship offers the opportunity for nurses and allied health professionals working in the field of neuro-oncology to attend the annual EANO Meeting to expand their research network and for knowledge exchange. A total of EUR 1.000 will be awarded per scholarship to cover travel and accommodation expenses related as well as receiving free registration for the Educational Day and EANO Meeting 2025.
With the aim of fostering future research collaborations worldwide, successful applicants, based on their interests, will be paired with an experienced NAC representative. EANO Membership is not required.

- brief CV/resumé (1 page)
- motivation letter (1 page) explaining how attending the EANO Meeting 2025 would benefit you, and outlining your research interests.

Selection and notification:
All applications received by the deadline will undergo review by the EANO Nurse & Allied Health Professionals Committee and confirmed by the EANO Executive Board. Candidates will be notified of their selection (or non-selection) for the scholarship via email.
Disparity Travel Scholarships for EANO Members from Underrepresented Countries*
We are excited to announce the launch of up to three (3) travel scholarships tailored to support delegates from underrepresented EANO Member countries*.
The EANO Disparity Travel Scholarship aims to empower EANO Members from underrepresented countries* by providing financial assistance to cover travel and accommodation expenses associated with attending our upcoming EANO 2025 Meeting in Prague. A total of EUR 1.000 will be awarded per Disparity Travel Scholarship. The awardee will also receive free registration for the Educational Day and EANO Meeting 2025.
This scholarship seeks to foster diversity within the EANO association, aiming for broader representation of perspectives from different countries. We therefore encourage applicants from various cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, socioeconomic statuses, and geographical regions to apply. EANO Members from all professions are welcome to apply.

*Note: The objective of this scholarship is to strengthen EANO membership in underrepresented countries. In the 2025 selection process, the following countries, which already have strong membership representation, will not receive priority for this scholarship: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.
EANO Investigator Travel Scholarship
One of the goals of the European Association of Neuro-Oncology is to broaden the network of neuro-oncology and to support neuro-oncologists in their (inter-) national research projects.
We are proud to be able to offer several travel scholarships to EANO Members to a
- EANO Young Investigator Travel Scholarship for Outstanding Science
- EANO Investigator Travel Scholarship for Outstanding Science for Allied Health Professionals and Nurses
EANO would like to encourage its young clinicians and investigators members to participate in the EANO Meeting to present their research work and create their network of fellow clinicians, investigators, allied health care professionals and nurses working in the field of Neuro-Oncology. To make this happen, in addition to the Scholarship, EANO is also waiving the registration fee to the EANO Meeting and Educational Day 2025.
All young scientists, allied health care professionals and nurses submitting abstracts are encouraged to apply by ticking the corresponding box during the abstract submission. The candidate must be member of EANO, first author of an abstract submitted and accepted, graduate student/resident/fellow within his/her first five years of his/her initial clinical or academic appointment (this does not apply for allied health professionals or nurses) and not older than 40 years (this does not apply for allied health professionals or nurses). The review and evaluation of the submitted applications will be done by the respective committee. The scholarship recipients will be contacted via email.

EANO/SNO Travel Scholarship for Outstanding Science
The European Association of Neuro-Oncology (EANO) and Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) both wish to support the participation of their members at the international meeting of our partner society. This reciprocity travel scholarship is thought to facilitate the attendance of EANO members, who have been selected based on high-quality abstracts, to attend the SNO Meeting and for SNO members to attend the EANO Meeting. The EANO Members selected for an oral presentation would present their work at both meetings.
- Travel Scholarship for Outstanding Science for EANO members
- Travel Scholarship for Outstanding Science for EANO allied health professional/ nurse members.
All scientists and allied health professionals/nurse submitting an abstract, who are active EANO members, are encouraged to apply by ticking the corresponding box during abstract submission. The revies and evaluation of the submitted applications will be done by a committee composed by both members of EANO and SNO. The selected scholarship recipients will be contacted via email.

EANO International Outreach Scholarship
The EANO International Outreach Travel Scholarship is a new initiative for clinicians, investigators as well as allied health professionals and nurses from all “low-, middle-low and upper-middle income countries” who have submitted an abstract and are struggling with limited resources to attend the EANO 2025 Meeting.
All abstract submitters are encouraged to apply by ticking the corresponding box during the abstract submission process. The review and evaluation of the submitted applications will be done by the EANO Executive Board. The scholarship recipients will be contacted via email.

EANO Congress & Poster Awards
EANO annually prizes four EANO Congress and Poster Awards, which will be selected by the Scientific Committee.
Congress Awards
Best oral presentations based on the submitted abstracts:
- Best Oral Presentation Award for Clinical research
- Best Oral presentation Award for Basic research
- Best Oral presentation Award for Translational research
- Best Oral Presentation Award for Supportive care and quality of life research
The recipients receive a certificate and free registration to the following EANO Meeting and Educational Day. They will be highlighted in EANO communications and announced prior to the EANO Meeting.
Poster Awards
- Best poster presentation: Clinical research
- Best poster presentation: Basic research
- Best poster presentation: Translational research
- Best poster presentation: Supportive care and quality of life research
The recipients receive a certificate and free registration to the following EANO Meeting and Educational Day. They will be highlighted in EANO communications and announced during the Closing Ceremony.
